This year’s Coffee Morning & Craft Fair in aid of Alzheimer Scotland took place at St Margaret’s Church Hall on Saturday 6th Novemeber. This event has become a firmly established favourite in the social calendar, providing an opportunity to snap up that unique hand crafted gift, before the Christmas rush!

Once again the Wednesday Quilters of Newton Mearns produced a fabulous hand-stitched log-cabin style quilt in neutral colours to compliment any home. St Margaret’s home bakers provided a fabulous array of home-baking to accompany cups of tea or coffee, convivial conversation and the meeting of friends new and old.
Over £1500 was made – thanks to all who helped on the day, took part in the raffle, donated goods and did so much to make the day a huge success. We were delighted that Alex Murphy, the Service Manager for the Glasgow Younger Persons Support Service, Alzheimer Scotland was able to come along.
A small group of service users meet in St Margaret’s Church Hall every Thursday.
