Due to forecast adverse weather conditions on Saturday 26th November, the planned leaf clearing event at St. Margaret’s has been cancelled.

The Annual General Meeting of the Congregation took place on 20th November 2011.
All documents and reports of relevance have been removed from the website but copies are available to any member of the Congregation. Use the form available here to request electronic copies from the Vestry Secretary.

The next Second Sunday concert at St. Margaret’s takes place on Sunday 13th November and features Donald Robinson and Linda Ayoub on piano and strings.
The performance starts at 3.30pm. All are very welcome.

Friday saw Maggie formally ordained as Deacon at St. Margaret’s by the Bishop of Glasgow & Galloway, the Right Reverend Dr. Gregor Duncan, in front of family & friends, the Congregation and Clergy.

Lots of things are happening in and around St. Margaret’s this September: the Ordination of our new Curate, the first of our Sunday music recitals, an Organ Recital at the Cathedral, Housegroups, the ‘Journey in Faith’ course and an evening teaching session by the Bishop.

Our first ever Curry and Movie night raised over £1000 towards the Organ Fund! Truly a tremendous achievment! Thanks to all those who helped put this event together and to those who showed up to support this cause.
You can look forward to future Movie nights, possibly with a different regional theme. Watch this space for details.
