Services

The mainstay of Sunday worship are the two Eucharistic services

The Said Eucharist at 9am is a simple half hour communion service without music but with brief meditation on readings for the day, leading into intercessions. This is held in the Lady Chapel.

The Sung Eucharist at 10.30am is a musical re-enactment of the Last Supper, supported by choir and organ,  liturgical in context, with a sermon and lay led intercessions. A creche is available for this service for parents with small children.

Sunday First, held at approximately bimonthly intervals, is an alternative to our regular Sung Eucharist. Drawing on a variety of traditions, both ancient and modern, it provides a thoughtful and engaging space where the whole church family can encounter God through music, word, action and silence. All are very welcome.

In addition to these, we anticipate holding special services to mark the seasons of the Church Year, which will be freer in form and reflective, with Communion. Details of these will appear here and on the calendar nearer the time.

A midweek Communion is also held on Tuesday mornings at 10am. Exceptionally, the Rector may have other commitments on this day. Please refer to the calendar for most up to date information.
